Precautions

WARNINGS

  • Poisonous when swallowed or inhaled.
  • Handle the concentrate with care.
  • May irritate skin, eyes and cause skin irritation and sensitization.
  • Do not use on edible crops, foodstuffs or surfaces on which food is handled or stored.
  • Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.
  • Poisonous if absorbed through the skin, swallowed or inhaled
  • Toxic to bees, fish, wildlife and aquatic organisms
  • Store in a cool place away from food and feed.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Wear protective clothing when handling concentrate or diluted chemical.
  • Wear a face shield when applying the spray mix.
  • Avoid contact with the skin and wash spillages from skin immediately.
  • Wash with soap and water after use or accidental skin contact.  Wash contaminated clothing daily.
  • Do not smoke, eat or drink whilst mixing or applying chemical, before washing hands and face.
  • Avoid spray drift onto surrounding areas and fish ponds
  • Do not apply near food, feed stuffs, drinking water and eating utensils.
  • Rinse container three times with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 10% of that of the container.  Add rinsings to the contents of the spray tank before destroying the container.
  • Destroy empty container and never re-use for any other purpose
  • Do not use in the presence of people with known sensitivity to pyrethroids.

VOORSORGMAATREËLS

  • Dra beskermende klere wanneer konsentraat hanteer word en verdunde spuitmemengsel hanteer word.
  • Dra ‘n gesigsmasker tydens toediening en wanneer spuitmengsel toegedien word.
  • Verhoed kontak met die vel en was vermorsing van spuitmengsel dadelik af.
  • Was met seep en water na gebruik en toevallige velkontak.  Was gekontamineerde klere daagliks.
  • Moenie rook, eet of drink terwyl gemeng of middel aangewend word nie alvorens hande en gesig nie gewas is nie.
  • Vermy wegdrywing van spuitmis na aanliggende gebiede en visdamme.
  • Moenie naby voedselware, voer, drinkwater of eetgerei spuit nie.
  • Spoel houer drie keer met ‘n volume gelykstaande aan ‘n minimum van 10 % van die van die houer uit.  Voeg die spoelwater by die inhoud van die spuit tenk alvorens houer vernietig word.
  • Vernietig lee houer en moet nie vir enige ander doel hergebruik nie.
  • Moenie in die teenwoordigheid van persone gebruik wat sensitiwiteit teenoor piretroiides toon nie.

RESIDUAL SURFACE SPRAY.  

Apply as a coarse droplet spray or by means of a paint brush to windowsills and walls.  In pigsties, barns and stables, sewage farms and abattoirs, pay particular attention to walls and other places where flies tend to shelter.

Apply as a coarse droplet spray or to the point of run off, to walls and ceilings.  Apply higher concentration for longer residual and or porous surfaces such as walls plastered with mud.

For the control of ants a broad band must be sprayed around the outside of the building while active nests must also be treated.  Apply with a pressure sprayer or use a sprayer that is suitable for use. Apply as a coarse droplet spray at 500 mℓ/10 m² or to the point of run off. Apply as a coarse droplet spray or by means of a paint brush on to walls and skirting boards, inside cupboards and other places where ants/fish moths occur.
