PRECAUTIONS

• Avoid any inhalation of spray mist and skin- and eye contact with concentrate.
• Wear protective clothing - rubber  gloves and face shield.
• Wash with water and soap after use. 
• Do not eat, drink, or smoke during handling, application or before washing.
• Clean applicator after use. Dispose of wash water where no contamination of fish ponds and rivers can occur.
• Prevent spraydrift from drifting to grazing and fish ponds.
• Rinse empty container three times with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 10 % of that of the container.  Add the rinsate to the contents of the spray can.
• Destroy empty container and do not use for any other purpose.
• Prevent contamination of food, feed, eating utensils and drinking water.

VOORSORGMAATREËLS

• Vermy enige vel- en oogkontak met konsentraat en inaseming van spuitnewel.
• Dra beskermende klere (rubberhandskoene en gesigskerm) en was daagliks.
• Was met water en seep na gebruik.
• Moenie eet, drink of rook gedurende hantering, toediening of voordat hande en gesig gewas is nie.
• Maak spuitapparaat skoon na gebruik.  Raak ontslae van uitspoelwater waar dit nie visdamme en riviere sal besoedel nie.
• Verhoed dat spuitnewel wegdryf na weiding, riviere en visdamme.
• Spoel leë houer driekeer uit met 'n volume water gelykstaande aan 'n minimum van 10 % van die houer en gooi die spoelwater by die inhoud van die spuitkan. 
• Vernietig leë houer en moet dit vir geen ander doel gebruik nie.
• Voorkom besoedeling van voedsel, voer, eetgerei en drinkwater.

IMPORTANT

• Thorough wetting of plants with the spray is very important because effective control is dependent on Whitefly nymphs coming into contact with residues of the product where ever they may move or settle on the plant.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

• Half fill the spray can with clean water.
• Add the required quantity of EFEKTO WHITEFLY INSECTICIDE
• Fill the spray can with water to the required level while maintaining agitation to ensure thorough mixing of the spray mixture before spraying commences
• Maintain agitation while spraying
• Prepared spray mixture must not be left overnight in the spray tank

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Apply as a full cover spray using a suitable garden pressure sprayer.
• Ensure that all above-ground parts of the plant are thoroughly wetted with spray mixture.
• Wet undersides of leaves well for effective whitefly control.
• Two to four applications of EFEKTO WHITEFLY INSECTICIDE at 7 day intervals, can give effective control of whitefly.

NOTE:  Due to EFEKTO WHITEFLY INSECTICIDE’s growth regulatory action on the immature phases of whitefly, adult whitefly populations only start to reduce after ±18 to 21 days after the first and second applications.

GENERAL DIRECTIONS:

• EFEKTO WHITEFLY INSECTICIDE is an insect growth regulator that prevents immature phases of the whitefly life cycle (nymphs) developing into adults.
• Reduced numbers of adult whitefly only become visible within ± 18 days after the first application.  Best control is obtained after 4 weeks (2 to 4 applications at  7 day intervals).
• NOTE: EFEKTO WHITEFLY INSECTICIDE does not kill adult whiteflies that are normally seen.  Adult populations disappear  as a result of their limited lifespan of up to 21 days and the fact that the nymph populations present are prevented from reaching maturity.
• All applications must be made with suitable spraying equipment that is in a good working condition.

• Twee tot vier bespuitings EFEKTO WHITEFLY INSECTICIDE met 7 dae tussenposes kan effektiewe witvlieg beheer tot gevolg hê.

NOTA:  As gevolg van EFEKTO WHITEFLY INSECTICIDE se groeiregulerende aksie op die onvolwasse stadiums van witvlieg, begin die volwasse witvlieg populasie eers afneem ± 18 tot 21 dae na die eerste en tweede bespuitings.
